Everything that happens happens once. Sued Nandayapa Bergmann Saunders live countries apart. Their interactions—made timeless and distinct and joyful and incandescent—have been charged and rare.

Reconvening for their third Ropeadope Sur album, they couldn’t. Still the band sought the intimacy of the moment and the room.

Evolving as songwriters and producers, they held their gaze—stretching within strange time constructs and decorating the brand-new band unconscious.

Tempos going on weeks and months; the invisible shade gained the stage.
